MJSSA KOTTAYAM Diocese is functioning as a spiritual organization of the church under Malankara Jacobite Syrian Sunday School Association (MJSSA) with the aim of inculcating faith, spirituality & leadership qualities among the children. Its main objective is to transform the children of Jacobite Syrian Christian Church by knowing and experience the Jesus Christ. Thus, the light of Christ would enlighten the society through them, and they would become virtue-based citizens by learning the Holy Bible, true faith, church history, prayers and liturgy of the church.
MJSSA KOTTAYAM Diocese comprises five Districts namely CHENGALAM, KOTTAYAM, MANARCAD, PALLAM and PAMPADY with 67 Sunday Schools in all parts of Kottayam revenue district of the state Kerala. Every year MJSSA Kottayam Diocese and its Sunday Schools organize various programs such as JSVBS (Jacobite Syrian Vacation Bible School) , Students Competition ' Kalothsavam ', Diocese level Students Leadership Training Program — DALIA (Diocesan Academy for Leadership, Intelligence & Abilities), Teachers Competition 'MIKAVU', Teachers Annual Seminar Meet — BASS (BadhrasanaAdhyapakaSauhradhaSangamam), LSS/ USS Scholarship Programme etc. along with Examinations.
